Services at St Barnabas
St Barnabas has a fairly 'middle of the road' style of worship. All our services are open to anyone to attend - whether you have a Christian faith or not, you are more then welcome to come and join with us. If you are visiting please do introduce yourself to the clergy and other members of the congregation and stay with us for a cup of coffee after the service.
St Barnabas has one main service a week on a Sunday at 10.30am. The fourth Sunday of the month is usually a 'Family' service; on the remaining Sundays, we usually hold a Communion Service, although this can vary because of festivals, 'parade' services and other special occasions. The music for the service is played on our magnificent organ (originally installed in 1891), or on the piano.

Several times a year we join with the congregations from St Nicholas and Christ Church for a joint Team Service. This usually happens around particular festivals such as Advent, Christmas, Palm Sunday, Easter and Pentecost.
Anyone attending services at St Barnabas is most welcome to attend any of the services hosted by any of the churches across the Sutton Team Ministry.
Local Ecumenical Partnership
St Nicholas church is in a 'Local Ecumenical Partnership' (LEP) with Sutton Baptist Church and Trinity URC Church. The LEP holds a Sunday Evening Service at 6.30pm which rotates between the three churches.
Again, anyone attending services at St Barnabas is most welcome to attend any of the services hosted by the churches of the LEP.
